Train tickets

If you plan to connect the train with your international flight, make sure you have enough time for customs formalities and transportation between airport and train station (about 3 hours in Kiev or 2 hours in Kharkov).

Train tickets are open for booking in 40 or less days before the train's departure. The cost of the tickets varies much depending of the distance and carriage class but usually the best 1st class train ticket costs 1,5-2,5 times cheaper than a ticket for a flight between the same cities.

Note that in Ukraine there are 3 main classes of train carriages:

1. First class (Deluxe) carriage contains 9 compartments with 2 berths in each of them.
2. Second class (Coupe) carriage contains 9 compartments with 4 berths in each of them.
3. Third class (Platzcart) - a carriage with 54 berths in two levels.

Those who prefer to travel in a compartment alone must be prepared to pay for both berths in 1^st class or for four berths in 2^nd class. We do not recommend you to travel in 3^rd class due to inconvenience and difficulty to control safety of your luggage.

Delivery of tickets

Your tickets can be delivered to your address by courier services (FedEx, DHL, UPS) by your choice. Delivery to any country in Europe and North America costs up to $45 and takes not more than 4 days. Delivery to major cities of Ukraine is carried out by local courier services, costs $2-8 and takes 1-2 business days.

In many cases it appears the most convenient to pick up the tickets from our agent right at the airport of your arrival to Ukraine. If you order an airport transfer the delivery of tickets is free of charge.
